Default Bought the bike 03 CBR 600RR

Bought that bike I was looking at... It was the first one I looked out but had a friend go with me and he ok'd it lol... Didnt want to go alone because I knew id buy it regardless hahaha

It looks good, it was laid down in a parking lot he said how true that is I dont know, but he was very upfront showed me everything and what not. it needs some bolts for the fairing but thats about it.

rode it over a hour home and it didnt break or die or flicker or anything so im overall happy

my only concern hope someone can clear it up

on the highway it was doing great, temp wise 175-180 6th gear running about 60-75 rode smooth sounds nice
when I got into the city the temp raised to one point and time 221, I know what 253 is critical when is the fan supposed to kick on and will I hear it?

thanks

The fan is supposed to kick on somewhere between 220 and 230. The 1000's heat up alot quicker and to alot higher temps.

yeah the fans should come on between 220-230 and keep the temp around there, maybe even bring them down to about 216-218. Don't be concerned, seems very normal to me. Only get concerned if it gets up over 240ish. Have fun with it bro, ride safe.
