Black Gas Cap
You can get one from vortex (any parts unlimited or truker rocky dealer can get them). But they are a little on the spendy side around $70.00 and they aren't locking. Just make sure you order both the base and the cap.

gentlemen, you're both right. The color of carbon fiber will be whatever polymers, resins, and epoxys are used to create the material. I've seen some military applications in carbon fiber that you wouldn't have guessed were carbon fiber based on the color.
I would spray it with black engine enamel (either flat or glossy, your preference) so gas spillage and splashback that you don't see won't pull the paint. Just make sure you sand it REALLY good. I would suggest using a Dremel like tool to get into the really tight parts....then clean it with some rubbing alchohol. Then primer and paint. (really light coats too).
