I killed the battery anyway, so I will stick it on the charger all day, see what happens. No, I don't have the manual, does it have some tips in there or something?

Okay, so I just got home. I went and grounded that wire I was talking about and instantly the injectors primed, the FI light came on. I hit the starter and she fired right up, as soon as I took that wire off the ground it died. So, I screwed it down on the (-) terminal and all is good again. Now I have am curious as to what that wire is for. I really don't think it is factory, I followed it a little bit and it just goes down in the fairing. Anyone ran into something like this?

I know it is not factory. It is some kind of blue and clear speaker wire with a cheap ring connector crimped on it. I might trace it someday I feel like taking the rear fairing off. I do have a smoked tail/turn signal combo to put on so I will tackle it then. I wonder if it is going to some kind of relay or something. I really doubt it has an aftermarket ignition. The previous owner never mentioned anything like that.

Summary of this thread - Owner takes a grounding wire off the battery finds their bike won't start - puts it back and the bike works again.
