Default Bike legitimacy

The 2nd one down, fully black. The stock fairings come with CBR Racing and 600rr decals. I e-mailed the guy, he said "Decals were removed, it's all factory."

But aren't the decals under the clearcoat? How would this be possible/does anything think these could be 3rd party fairings?

Actually no I don't believe that the decals you are talking about are under the clear coat. I still find it odd that he removed those decals. Maybe he just wanted a clean look but yes I think they can be removed no problem. I think the only one under clear coat is the one on the tank.

I won't tell you what you should or should not pay for a bike but I think that $5200 is too high for that bike. That is what I got my 07 for with 2600 miles on it. Just my $.02

Oh snap - get the RC51!!!!

For a general reference.
I paid 7,000 for my 09 (this was end of this past summer) RR with 1,011 miles on her.
Yoshi exhaust, Undertail, Puid Tinted screen, and Honda rear seat cowl all included.

I think it looks good. The price isn't crazy if its never been dropped. I paid 5,000 for my 05 with 9,000miles yet it did come with a pipe, full flat black paint, filter, power commander, lowered ect. If you like it, try to talk him down a little. I think it looks clean. The decals could have been removed.

I would never have ended up paying $5200 for that bike. Would have talked him down, but instead I went and picked this up: http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/mcy/2219529563.html for $4000 flat. 10,000 miles on it, just need to find some OEM fairings now. And a way to get it home :X

Edit: Anyone know of a good fender eliminator? dudes got the license plate mounted on the side of the bike and its fugly!!!
