I pay $330 per year for full coverage on my 07 through state farm so no that isn't true. However the rates will changes depending on where you live, how old you are, driving record and if you have anything else insured through that company. When you find a bike you like write down the VIN and miles then call your agent and they will give quote so you know what your looking at.

Solid advice out of RDub.... how rare

But all very true. I pay less on my RR(09) for higher coverage through StateFarm than I did on my F4i (02) through progressive.

I'm not a fan of the engine case showing, it makes for more to clean. I also don't like the 09 where they have three different shades of black on the bike. Also which every black Honda uses on the frame, should be used on the plastics as well IMHO.

As far as insurance goes you definitely want to call around. I have Dairyland Cycle and pay $560 a year for 100/300/50, uninsured/underinsured 100/300/50, collision $500 deductible, comprehensive $100 deductible, $5,000 in accessories and $5,000 medical. Every where else I called like State Farm, Progressive, Geico and American Family all wanted $1,100+ for the same coverage. I also think alot of insurance companies base there rates on your credit score. So if you have a crappy credit score your rates will be higher...

Thats gross. I pay $82 a month for full coverage and thats with no claims in the last 5 years. Thats the cheapest I can find by a lot. It makes no sense to me, but whatever.
