Default Bad Road Rash

So I went for a beautiful ride along the chagrin river, its nice ride with some dangerous turns. I always tell riders with me to slow down around this one turn that says do 20. Well i slowed down like usual before the turn then all sudden felt my back tire slipping out from underneath and i spun about 90% so i straighten it out but when i went to try and turn again to correct it i hit gravel and my bike was going straight into a gaurdrail... I knew i had two choice one stay on bike and go head first or tuck and roll ... I chose tuck and roll and will live to see another day. slid on the ground got little roadrash but helmet and my side went into the gaurdrail. Broken rib, broken scapula, bruised lung. All im gunna say is be safe make sure you wear a helmet and a one second decision could save your life. My bike will never ride again after 100ft fall but ill live to ride another day . Ill post pics once i get to my buddies shop who is storing it for me.

glad your okay, and it just goes to show that your gear works. alot of ppl out there thinks is stupid to wear a helmet but id bet they think different if this happened to them.

Good to hear you're doing ok. Bike can be replaced, but there's only one you. Wish every one else looked at gear the way you do. Get well soon and I hope that don't keep you off 2 wheels.
