Default Any cutting required?

I bought a generic dual phillament turn signals for my 2005 rr after the people at the bike shop told me no mod would be required. After taking all the plastics off i came to find out i would have to cut in order to make it fit. ( it took me 2:45 hours to dismantel) I took a look at the Hotbodies flushmouts and would like to know if there is cutting required.

I've got the hotbodies flush mounts and I didn't have to mod the fairings. I had to cut the connector that attached to the stock turn signals so i could join the two wires but that was it.
