Default Air Intake

Short story is I dumped the bike the other day and decided to Check valves, plugs, and change the Air filter. My only problem is I can't seem to get the Inner air intake to seat right. I am talking about the rubber one that the air box slips in to for a seal.

Any Ideas???

Thanks.... but that wasn't the problem. I just used a spray bottle with soapy water to help it seat.
