Default Aftermarket fairings

to make a long story short my bike was damaged in a shipping accident, finally getting money to fix it up.

so i was thinking about getting a set of aftermarket fairins off ebay or something like that (much Cheeper) and you can get some pretty cool designs.

now the last time i had to deal with aftermarket fairings was a buddy of mine backed up into my 96 f3 i had to replace the front cowl. and it did not line up well with the factory fairings at all, that was about 9 years ago.

so does anyone know if you buy the whole set will they line perfect with each other and the bike. or will i get frustrated and feel like it does not mtch up right. if anyone has had any experience with i would greatly appreciate some feed back

i have had my bike for 2 years and i have never ridden it once. i am really anxious to start ridding in it.

thank you for the help

I have heard two stories from guys buying the cheaper fairings off of ebay. Its either they fit perfect and the love them, or everything was off and it was a pain in the *** to get them lined up. From what I have heard the quality of them has been increasing lately and the last few guys I know that got them had no problems at all though. I think the only complaint was that shipping took a while because the were coming from Hong Long is I am remembering correctly.

I was actually thinking about purchasing a set to save a good chunk of money over buyin oem.
