Default 600rr Tire Pressure

Hey I have a 05 cbr 600rr and I just put new michelin pilot powers on it. The book says 36 front 42 rear. But I hear that is too much and to keep both in the mid 30's. I know everyone has their own prefrence and I was curious what you guys ride.

Thanks

I run PP and I do 30 30.....for normal road travel and drop them a little at the track...it depends on the day and how you like your ride....@ higher pressure your going to get a bumpy ride. The PP stand up well you have to see how aggressive you want to be. I went for a long ride (over 300 miles) and bumped them up before hand because I knew the roads where straight and boring....but hitting up palomar or ortega I drop them because of the conditions.

Its a related to how your riding and where.....I know at Willow springs (ROUGH MF) I dropped them to 28 29 it was 102 that day ....but at Road America I stayed 30 30 and they wore great...I got 3 trackdays and 3k miles out of them before I switched them out....probably could have gone another 1k or so but I got anxious for my cone......dam I love new tires.....GL
