tire pressures are supppose to be measured at 68 deg's F, or 20 degs C.
For every 10 deg change lower than that, your tires should read 1 psi lower. Every 10 deg's above that, they should read 1 psi higher.

Ideally though, you want to run a little lower tire pressure in really cold weather since it will allow the tires to heat up faster. As for what that will be, its hard to say. A lot will depend on your weight. There is no set point for tire pressure. A person that weighs 150lbs is not going to run the same tire pressure as someone who weighs 250lbs. At least, they shouldn't.

manual says it should be 36 psi in the front and 42 in the rear. this is for bridgestone and michelin tires. but justasquid has a point. i run my tires (michelin's) at the recommended specs on the tire.

i have the actual manual in my hand. and i checked the tire pressure that is recommended but was wondering if theres different pressures that people use that might be better to ride with. but i will make sure that its set for recommended pressure.

thank you all for the input.
