600rr or 600f4i???
i dont even ride my bike, i just stand next to it and have a cigarette in my mouth even though i dont smoke.
concesus says that the rr is a bit more powerful and aggressive while the f4i is comfortable and hesitant.
its so hard to choose i think you should get both bikes
i think its still funny that people compare the two bikes. these bikes have more differences between the two than commonalities and still people argue over which to have. if they were relatively the same i say compare and judge but thats not the case.
i say go for whatever you budget allows. if you can afford a newer rr than get it but if not f4i is a gread fiscal choice.
anyway, i have never heard before of anyone saying that the f4i is an ugly bike. how the hell?

i think the front is sort of ugly...i don't like how the headlights aren't separated...i don't like cyclop womeng...i don't like unibrows...so i don't like connected headlight...i've yet to see a cyclops i thought was good looking.
I can tell you that the F4 is WAY more comfortable then the RR[8D]
Otherwise... RR is easier to throw through the twisties. Much more then that will take a few more miles on my RR
After 30K+ on my F4... I was VERY comfortable with it in the twisties and on the track.

i'm a shallow sonofabitch, so i got the 2004 rr instead of the f4i, because the f4i had an ugly looking banana seat that made it look like an old mans bike and the rr's look cool as hell.
edit-- what the heck happened to the stars i use to have below my name?!? i use to be a cool senior member dangit!

both are really great bikes... i wouldnt compare the two as far as performance unless you are a very experienced rider... rather i would consider the tradeoffs as far as looks and comfort. I went with the rr because personally i think it looks better, and because i dont take very many long highway trips that was more important to me. if you think the f4i looks better or if you would prefer a slightly more comfortable bike then definitely go with the f4i. either way though you really cant lose they both are great
not that it means a whole lot.. but for what its worth.. i drive my 07 rr to work as mant days as i can in north louisiana.. you know as long as its not pouring rain.. but yea 30 min there and 30 min back.. its not too uncomfortable and it looks mean as hell.. i love my new bike and wouldnt trade it for anything.. i dont know but its my opinion to go with the rr.. looks great as has felt great from the start!
