Default 40 bucks saved my a$$

So, hey, installed vortex frame sliders, and today went to a buddies house, and parked in his driveway, its a condo style with the single garage with the slop-ey drive way, well I decided that parking sideways with the kick stand facing uphill was a good idea....NOPE, as soon as I got off, bike tipped over ( holy Im retardations) I tried to keep it centered, HAHAHAH no way jose, and shablamo, on the side, leakin gas and a-freze outta the tubes, picked the bike up, parked like a normal person, and checked for damage......nothing. Just a scraped mirror ( ooOOOOO im sooo upset) and scratches on the slider.

Thank you who ever invented those mamajammas! I still have shiny bike!

Thats all.

Frame sliders rock. Completely saved my fairings in a retarded get off turing out onto my street, 93 bucks worth of damage rather than hundreds.

In the lowsode I had last summer (Deals Gap) my vortex's didnt completely save me but kept the damage n cost down considerably as to what it woulda been w/o em. I'm living with the scratches on the lower fairing (adds character). New levers (broke the brake level) and a right mirror. And thanks to my GEAR I walked away w/o a scratch and rode the bike home.

Frame, swingarm, and bar end sliders are the #1 best mod you can do for your bike.

Like I've said a ton of times... nobody ever says "I sure wish I HADN'T installed frame sliders."

At least you got lucky... I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone drop their bike or have a "small" lowside... and when I asked if they had frame sliders it's always "I ordered them the day before I wrecked" or "I have them at my house and hadn't installed them yet" or something like that.
