I dont know but i cant seem to figure out what that little third light on top of the high beam and the low beam is for..... does any one know if its just for looks or does it have a purpose?

I think its like a safety light so if you main light goes at least you still have a front light and can male it near a petrol station and get a replacement bulb. thats what i think. I swapped mine for an LED one so it never blows. The down side is if you live in a country that gets cold and humid the lens steam up and doesnt quite get hot enough to evaporate the moisture.

 

Yea, I just kindathought that I twas kind of like a running light or something. Mine is blue, so I really dont know. Probably what he^^ said

 

well i know from experience that, that light is not connected with the head lights. when i burned up my headlight harness..from runnin both healights as both low lights(wired correctly). that light was still working..but nothing from the headlights. i would have to say its a safety light. not a very good one..but yea

If you're talking about the middle light I think you're talking about, it's mainly for European bikes & it's called a "driving light". Most euro bike have them by law. Although not all F4i year/models have them and some other bikes have them in top left and right instead of one in middle. Some bikes have covers over where they normally go on U.S. models.
