Default 2009 600rr won't start???

Crap. Ok so last year, I did the Winterization stuff for my bike. I cleaned it, Filled the fuel tank full of fuel, Took the battery out(it was going bad so i figured i would order one come spring). I got my new battery a few days a go and i put it in today and the battery turned the crank...but it didn't start. So now I'm wondering what the heck is going on?? Cranking it a few times in short bursts and waited 10 seconds in-between. Nothing. Bike ran great before..... I'll try to listen for the fuel pump tomorrow. I thought it was going but I'll double check tomorrow.

If I get this right you bought a brand new battery and put it right in the bike without charging it???? If so that is the WRONG thing to do. You MUST give a new battery a full charge. Do that then let us know if the bike will run or not.

Ok, Got the bike running.Yesterday. Then it died cause i opened the throttle after it warmed up a bit. Then I tried it again. Fired up a bit later. I have an assumption of what happened(Don't know for sure). I have to oil the chain yet and then i will take it for a ride.

Umm. When i toped off the fuel tank i added what i thought was fuel from my brothers gasoline can. (I'm guessing it wasn't Gasoline). I drained the whole fuel tank put in two gallons of 91 and cranked it over with throttle opened up. It started up after that. I don't know what he had in the gasoline container. It smelled like gasoline, looked like gasoline but wasn't.
