2007 front seat fit on a 2006 600rr ??
The main issue I have with the 06 is the width at the front of the seat. Really creates comfort issues on
longer rides. Its seems that the 07-08 models have fixed this, creating a slightly narrower seat towards the front.
So - does anyone know if the 07-08 seat will fit onto the 2006 600rr ? Much cheaper for me than the Corbin et al,
and it may solve my issue better.
Thanks all,

After a couple of hours of riding my thighs feel like they are being forced outward by the seat shape.
Its not a padding issues, really seems to be the width of the front of the seat. The new ones are definitely
narrower, as are the Suzukis and Yamahas. Perhaps its just my body shape, but since Honda
changed the design I suspect I may not be the only one with the issue.

I know after a while of riding it starts to become uncomfortable on the 'ol nutts- gotta get off and let em fall back into place- I wish i was tall and only my *** touched but being short seems to have more disadvantages on these bikes
2007+ seat IS narrower than the earlier models.
Don't know if it would fit, however,
I do have a 2005 seat that I can try to fit to my 2007
(reverse of your situation)
I'll let you know what fitment issues I find tonight.

Ok, just tried it. Bottom line: it won't fit.
2007+ seat not only is narrower, but it is also longer.
The mounting tabs, and the holes for the screws are in different locations as well
The 05-06 seat is also flatter than the newer one
I'm guessing that's where you get your feeling of having your legs pushed outward.
Your best bet would be to get your current seat re-contoured
(there are a couple of good how-to's on the forum if you feel up to DIY)
