2007 600RR Battery...DEAD!!!
Has anyone experience issues dealing with new batteries? Maybe I'm new to this. I bought an 07 off the lot in Florida last April. I rode it everyday. Moved back home to Pittsburgh in January, so it did sit until April-May. I had no problems getting it to start in May and rode it all over until one morning it just didnt start. I had it out in a pretty bad storm the night before. Does anyone think the battery could have gotten wet? I put it on a charge and the battery is completly dry. My warranty of course wont cover the battery and it costs $120 for a new one. Is that normal? SHould I get the original battery or go for a different less expensive battery. Any input would be much appreciated!

RE: 2007 600RR Battery...DEAD!!!
I believe the battery has either a 6 month or 1 year warranty on it........I'm not 100% sure. I just knew that my battery kept passing all the tests, yet it was dead everytime I got home. If I turned the engine switch off, and just cranked it, it would drain in about 10-15 seconds. Finally, I just yelled at the dealer (the crappy dealer I hate with a passion) and left. Went to the dealer who I bought it from (and hour away) and they replaced it......no problems since. I could have sworn the batteries were covered for 1 year though.
