In my opinion one of the best features of the 600RR is the rear exhaust. If the R6 were to implement rear exhaust, I would definately consider the R6. My mother doesn't think I should be riding bikes. She does however give opinions on color schemes. My mother says that I can wear my blue leathers with a blue helmet on a silver bike. So it looks like I will be getting a 2006 R6 Silver.

It's great having a mother who doesn't support my hopes and dreams but gives me advice on color cordination. I'm going to ask for a discount come January becuase of the lack of a blue bike. I like the black but I don't want to get creamed at night by somebody who can't see me.

 

LOL. that was kinda an odd post. but ok in my opinion i dont like the undertail exhaust. although i will say the 600rr has the best looking undertail exhaust on a 600 cc bike. and you said silver r6 so im guessing you meant silver 600rr. but i think the 1000rr stock exhaust looks way beter now. its dual outlet stock now almost looks a little like the micron pipe. also the new orange tribal is butt ugly. but i do agree with you i miss the blue rrs. i just cant stand how everyone and there mother are starting to put undertail exhaust on the sport bikes. i mean it looks clean not having a pipe on one side. but i still like the standard pipes better. i also think the new r6 exhaust is sweet.

 

Was hoping personally for some changes from 05-06, but I am almost relieved now that they didn't really change anything. It helps me make up my mind on what to get.

I think I will be opting an 06' Silver 600RR.

 

If you own a bike as of now... Id wait for 07!!!! o7 is when honda makes the SERIOUS CHANGES TO BODY AND PERFORMANCE... Think. the zx10 06, the new r6 and r1's (06), and the suzuki GSXR1k's (05) and the 600-750 (06)..... honda will be last, but will be best!!! I seriously predict that... I love the color schemes but I think I can wait and just get my stunt bike as of now.... and get my NICE RIDE in 07...

I think 07 hondas will be OFF THE F*CKIN HOOK!!! and be ONTOP !!!!! (i hope lol)

YOUR A FUNNY GUY. My mom hates the fact of anything cause she knows how my dad used to ride, and she's seen me ride, stunt, and do any sport and I do it to the FULLEST... She watched me bail at 60+mph on a gsxr 750 before cause i hit a rut in the road and the bike went CRAZY.... she almost died, and its funny cause I got up, dusted off, and walked to her laughing cause the bike was fine too... she HATED me after that. Also cause Id pull up wheelies next to her and her clients in the limo on the freeway lol (she's a limo driver, not that it was needed but yeah.) ... id always have a message BITCHING BITCHING BITCHING cause of it or when I skitch next to her or in front of her LOL... Moms are cool.

You sound like the neighbor kid that always taught me how to be unsafe and reckless. We never got hurt. He a mini bike when I was 6, taught me to ride. Then a Honda Trail 70 when I was 8. By 12 He had a honda 350 of some kind. We would take it off jumps and he had to modify everything (taking off speed governors) he owned. My mom watched me do all of these things. I never got hurt once. She said just wear a helmet.

Anyway a motorcycle is way overdue for me. I've got 4 helmets already and a very fancy leather jacket and 3 pairs of gloves. See my other posts to see my mini chopper I ride around my neighborhood. I refuse to wear a helmet riding that little thing unless I go over 40mph. I dying to get a bike but I've learned patience over the years.

I will be getting either the 600RR or the Yamaha R6. Most likely it will be the 600RR. Honda has some nice incentives. The silver will be the bike for me.

be safe when you get one man, no joke. Take your time, even though you've ridden, take your time. learn the bike, learn the limits, and LEARN YOURSELF. You is the cause of at least 60% of your run ins with bad situations... Ive noticed that lol.

Ride safe. And get a 6rr, itll do you better. Honda's are always the best bikes... No troubles.
