Default 2004 CBR600 too old?

Hi, new to the board! Looking to get a CBR600 and most of the deals I'm seeing are for 04s or 06s in my area, generally between $4k and $5k. They're both low miles (less than 9k). Are they still considered good bikes? What matters at that age? Thanks for any help!

I've got a 92'. She still runs like a top with 10k miles on it. 04 will treat you well especially with the low miles

It's an RR. So that isn't old then? That's good to know! The 04 is going for $4500-- is that too much you think? I checked the bluebook, and it seems to be $4150 for that model/year, but the miles are lower (<9k) than what the bluebook assumes (14k I think) for that year.
