Default 2003 vs. 2008

So I just rode a friend's '08 600RR and now I know the other bikes I wanted to buy are out. In looking for a 600RR on craigslist, I located a pristine low mileage 2003 for $5500. So how different is the '03 and '08...has the riding condition and feel of the bike changed all that much or has it pretty much been fairly minor upgrades over time? Would a 2003 be a decent daily ride or should I hold out and buy a '07 or '08?

no 600RR is meant to be for a daily ride hence the RR(race ready). It is targeted for the track consider a f4i for a DAILY RIDE.

Mine is a daily ride. You have to get what you like. If it were meant only for track, they would not have puts headlights on it, or they would provide a cover.

We all agree then, the RR is *the* bike to have.

I understand that it is a good daily ride for alot of people im not saying that its not good for a daily ride. The point that im trying to get across is that the honda cbr 600rr is geared more towards the track. im not saying its only for the track but to get the 600RR full POTENTIAL it definetely has to be on the TRACK where there is no interaction with CAGERS OK. The F4i is waayyyyy more COMFORTABLE and trunk SPACIOUS than the RR if anyone would like to challenge me Go AHEAD
