HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Your bike wasn't a lemon. It had no oil. Thats just stupidity. When you $ the bike, did you even look at anything. Id say the blame is on the Buyer. You should have done your homework.
man thats pretty harsh.....

I see that both are to blame for this, but if you sold someone a car or bike wouldnt you tell them that it doesnt have any oil, radiator fluid, gas or watever. When i sold my ninja250 i made sure i disclosed whatever happend to it including repairs i did or things that needed to be done soon. I just wanted to be sure that the buyer is fully aware of wat they are buying so that they dont come barking at me later. I feel that the seller should of at least told him about the oil.....i mean come on who the hell changes the oil and doesnt put oil back in it. a simple "hey there's no oil in the bike so dont forget to put some in" then if you forget (slap) its ur bad.

well hope u get a new motor and be sure it has oil in it.....u prolly wont ever forget now

I don't think he was harsh...I'm a dumb a$$ for not checking...and this is not my first bike.
He sold the bike because his father forced him too (18 year old kid). He had the bike for 1 week and drove it for 1 day (the he drove it home), old man took the keys from him and list it on craigslist. That's the story they gave me.

I asked him and he told me the pervious owner did the 7500 maintained...I took his word.
I learned my lesson very well (about $1200 worth). Bike is at a local shop and the tear down should start this morning!!!!!

I paid $3200 for the bike...should have purchased the 07 GSXR600 for 6500 which was hands down just beautiful.

GSXR's are garbage, starting with the frames.

You want a 07 motor for it with less than 3,000 miles on it? Cause I happen to have one for sale... not sure if you can put it in an older frame, but maybe...

Well you chose the right bike, but unfortunately it sounds as if it were in the wrong hands previously. You will be happy with it when it is all said and done.

I wasnt trying to be harsh...If it was me, and I did that, I think Id be crying like a little girl, and NOT telling anyone about it because of my Guinny Pride...just like anything, do it once and you suck and its wrong, thats the only time your gonna do that...

Good luck mang, may the schwartz be with you~~

OK...
Shop told me what I didn't want to hear...it's cheaper to buy the engine [sm=smiley19.gif]
So i picked up a 2006 with approx 4700 miles before the crash...$600.00.

Here's where I'm at:
• Bike 2003 600rr with Repsol Farrings purchase price $3200.00
• New engine $600.00
• Labor $700.00
• One soon to be Pissed off wife....(afraid to come home)
Not looking forward when she finds out 1300 bucks are missing from our saving acct.[sm=chairshot.gif]
There goes all the mods I wanted and a newLCD TV (xmas gift)[sm=boohoo.gif]
Man, I'm sooooooF'ing screwed.

Yea 4500 isnt bad at all for a 2003 600rr. Atleast you didnt pay out 4500 just for the bike. I probably wouldnt have checked the oil the day after I bought it. I mean you kind of assume the bike isnt drained of it. But I would have changed it soon after I got it.
