My bike is supposed to have an 18 Litre tank (yes im canadian) anyways i ran the bike till the last light started blinking and then filled it up..Iwas onlyable to fit 13.5 litres in. where is the other 4.5 Litres ?? any idea ??

well i know we have 4.8 gallons.. light is flashing at 4.1 or so used up, so there is more than half a gallon still in the tank. its so if you get to that point your not actually empty and you get some damn gas

I know when the light flashes there is still some gas left, but 4.5 Litres remaining?? thats a quarter of a tank. thats quite a bit for a "reserve" isnt it?
I get about 200km from full, till the time the light flashes. with that being said, if i have a quarter of a tank left when the light flashes, I shouldget an extra 50 km till the tank is bone dry?? how many K's does everyone else get on a tank till the light comes on?

 

When my light flashes, and fill up, it's usually only takes 3.9 to 4.1 gallons, depending on how long I rode with it flashing. And the flashing bar only serves as a "low fuel" indicator......warning that you have less than a gallon remaining.

 

My light doesn't flash. I actually ran out of gas thinking that it would. It just goes down to the last bar. What's wrong with my bike?

 

You probably have a sensor that is either out of adjustment or needs to be adjusted/replaced. I know that I've heard some people say that their gas guages are off on the 07's, and that there might have been a recall on that. I would check into it either way.
