Looking in sport bike mirrors aren't like car mirrors - you gotta constantly adjust, move your arms in/out, move your head. That's just the way it is.

Keeps you moving and scanning. That's how you should be riding anyway.

i don't think i've ever ridden a sportbike that had mirrors that worked without moving your arms.

Take em off...then just turn around to check your 6...or push the the arm out on the mirror then toe the mirror back in on the swivel. elbows are alwyas gonna be in the picture...get used to looking past em and using mirrors to scan...

Yep, move the mirror arms as far out as they will go
(having the arm slightly pointed forward will help, since it moves the mirror further away from you, however if you lay the bike down, the mirror arm will most likely break instead of moving with the impact.)

And point the mirror so that you see your elbows when your arms are in a relaxed position.

Then to see out back, tuck your elbows in.

you can't remove the mirrors. according to many state DOT regulations, you have to have at LEAST one.
