Can anyone tell me where this bolt could have came from on the bike? I tookthe bikeout of storage today to fire up the engine and rode it for 3 miles just to run it. When I came back I found this bolt between the plastic and the frame just sitting there. Thanks for the help in advance!! Crash

 

My money's the bolt coming fromthe rafters in storage... - Make sure you park it somewhere else in that building next year!

 

Im diggin your rearsets, and the blue bike... mine is the same color. That looks like the engine mount bolt. I had to take mine out to install the no-cut vortex sliders. It is beneath the mid-fairing right before the block meets the head of the engine. Not 100% but id check it out just for good measure, if im right.. thats an important bolt.

 

I thought pretty much EVERY bolt on these bikes are washer bolts (Round base under the head)... - Again that's where I'm thinking it came from something else...

 

it looks like it came from another vehicle... maybe picked up off the road

 

yea ive tore my bike down quite a few times and ive never ran across anything that looked remotely like that one. i guess id have to say you might have picked it up on the road somewhere, but thats a hell of a place for it to end up and for it to be that big i think you would have seen/heard it if you hit it
