Default Which bolt on can to use?

So I am working on my 98 CBR900RR and cannot decide which muffler to buy. The bike is supposed to have a Yoshimura header stock mid pipe and a gutted stock can. It had a Yoshi can but the owner put the old can back on before he sold it. I also see different size flanges. Which flange do I need. It will be bolting to a stock pipe. I need all the help you guys can give me. I am looking at Yoshi and Two brothers.

WOW! 46 people have viewed so far with no opinion or advice.

How does asking which exhaust sounds better on our bikes require pics??? That is ridiculous. The bike is torn down, fairings and tank are at the paint shop. What is the point of taking pics of that.

Pics always help. it is hard to give someone advice about something so obviously rigged together, but when the rubber meets the road, a good hobbyist or even mechanic would be willing to help you but we would need pics. Honestly, your setup sounds kind of suspect. I would doubt that the pipes on it are yosh, which is probably why you were asked for pics. we are a tight nit group here and we are always willing to lend a hand, mail an extra part we have laying around or even, but you have to catch flies with honey. no one here will lift finger one to help someone with 7 posts that has done nothing but complain about not being helped and gaffed off requests for more pics/info. that being said, if you post some, we can all give you some good advice. without that, i would say, scrap what you have and buy a full system.

I have a D&D bolted on my 98 CBR900RR. Sounds great! But this is all a matter of opinion...

Camera battery is dead and I had to order a new one so it will be a few days before I can get pics. I looked at the header and I can't find anything saying yoshimura.I compared pics of a stock header to my header and I am pretty sure it is stock. However I purchased the Yoshimura bolt on rs-3 muffler. Hopefully I am not disappointed. I would have bought a whole system but the budget did not allow for it at the moment. Hopefully I can become a good standing member of this tight nit group. Sorry if I came off as being impatient and rude.

I like the shorties but not sure how it would look on the bike. I would like to eventually do a high mount or undertail.
