I recently got mine about 3-4 weeks ago. My question is whether or not your bikes came with a tool kit? When I got mine there was no tool kit or loop for the helmet. I asked the sales guy about it, who then proceeded to say he would call and get one ordered in. After waiting a week and not hearing back from him, I called and he told me the 07/08s don't get tool kits anymore. I personally think he is feeding me a line of BS, so I am wondering if this is true or not. Thanks for the help guys!

I got my "toolkit" which consisted of a single allen wrench for the fairing bolts.

I did get a helmet strap- he is feeding you BS- deal with some other rep and get what you need from Honda.

I figured he was full of it. They swapped the bike with another dealer for a red one, so i'm guessing my toolkit and helmet strap got losted then. That pisses me off though how the dealer was dishonest and straight up lied to me over the phone. I suppose i'll wait and see what a few other people say before I call Honda.

Well i got a tool kit with mine, to be honest the tools are pretty crappy but they are handy to have if you ever need them and you're not at home :s all vehicles these days come with small tool kits, i'm pretty sure the guy was feeding you BS [&:]I'm pretty sure you could put your own tool kit together with some better quality tools

I have an 08 and my toolkit was one allen key and I got a strap which is a sorry excuse for a helmet lock... Most disappointing.

So it sounds like everyone atleast got some form of a toolkit or helmet strap. I'm going to call Honda's costumer service tomorrow just to be 100% and see if they can mail me one. Then i'm def. getting ahold of the guy that sold it to me and calling him out on it. This should be interesting!

I agree with you Martin on the oil change. haha It doesn't really upset me that I didn't have a toolkit, because i'm sure they are worthless, it's the matter that after I bought a new bike from them they lie to me!
