Default 07 600rr oil

I bought my bike used and have put 2000 miles on it now. I don't know if the previous owner was running synthetic so should I use honda gn4 or hp4?

I have read to use a synthetic blend when switching from a reg oil to synthetic, so if you are not sure in this case, maybe use the synthetic blend for this oil change, and then switch to the HP4S (10w30 fully synthetic) for your next oil change. The 2007 manual recommends 10w30, so that is what I use.

how many miles does the bike have on it? as long as you are past the break in period, switch to synthetic whenever you like.

I just hit 12600. So I will be fine running Honda hp4s? Do I want it with molly or with out?

I think the HP4S only comes one way, and I have read that it does not contain moly. HP4 is a different story.
