I'm just trying to find out what material the wheels are made of on a 06'?

 

I'd assume aluminum, like the rest. They're not GP bikes from the start... we'd have to add the magnesium rims

 

how do you like your 06 I just bought the 06 in ornage and black tribal.

 

I love the way new bikes feel.

 

Does anyone what I would be looking at to get the wheels and swing arm chrome plated? Where can I get it done cheap?

 

The new 600 RR is a hot item especially the orange and black tribal.

 

yea man i saw the orange and black and knew that was my bike. I got the first one out in my dealership and it looks mint. The orange has a gold flake to it so in the light it has sort of a sparkel, its a sweet color

 

yeah i was gonna get that one to but the silver caught my attention more , just cause of the fact that its so clean, no grapics, and the details stand out alot..

 

the other day i saw a GSXR 1000 with Carbon Fiber wheels on it @ Hahm motorsports... anyone know anything about these? IE. are they durable? how much lighter are they than magnesium, and most importantly.... HOW EXPENSIVE ARE THEY
