Default '06 RR Engine Upgrades...

Has anyone heard of or know where to find engine mods for these bikes? I've been having fun while riding with my friends and some of them have liter bikes. I can keep up with them nearly always if we take off at the same time and I would love to be able to bring some more power out of my bike. And for the guys that are going to say buy a liter bike..... I can out run everyone, liter bikes included, on the curvies... So another 20 ponies or so would be really nice... Let a ninja know....

best bet is bolt on upgrades as of now ... pipe, ecu, etc...

you could bore it to a 601 or something...

how much you want to spend? turbo is the next step. i dont know if they have one for the 600rr but you can just get the turbine and go to a shop to get some custom fitted pipes and some rubber tubes at a hardware store.
you will get lucky if you can squeeze 5-8 extra hp from bolt-ons. bolt-ons dont do crap other than make your bike sound louder and eat more gas.
people will tell you that adding an after market exhaust will give you 10hp boost, but that all non-sense.
good luck

You're not gonna get any extra hp from a slip-on. It's just acan that makes your bike sound different, just like alekinci said. Your best bet would be to change your gear ratio by getting different sprockets. That should give you that extra low end boost you need to get ahead of your litre bike buddies.

well.... fellas I appreciate the input, but these things I already know. And yes, I have a complete Yoshi exhaust, power commander, and k&n. The pipes and programmer where the best inprovement. But I don't want to hurt my top end. See I can run with the liter bikes up til about 160 on my speedo... probably around 150 or so... If I do a 1 down 2 up set up 140 will be all I can do. Which is really fine.... but I'd like to keep my top end. I was thinking ported head, maybe cams.... stroke kit. I don't want to add weight with the turbo kit. I love the curves I'd just like to have a bad *** 600. Ya know... that people say "You need to get a piece of that bike" just wondering... I'll do some more searching...

i was gonna suggest time adustment and a cam replacement but i did know they made those for the 600rr. I guess Tahoe found something that has everything you need. btw, am i look at the right thing or is this kit like $1700?
