06 600rr vs sports cars
sorry, i thought you meant the new ones
you only need 30 something cars to be called a production vehicle? and lingenfelter does not make cars (they breed monsters lol), so regardless of how many vettes they turn out, until they produce the car, it will never be a production vehicle
either way, i wouldnt want to meet up with one on the street with a car full of girls watching me get my *** handed to me by one. lol

The RR will STOP faster than the Z06 as well & the Vette Z06 is a monster stopping machine!! Awesome brakes. But again weight is the game.

especially comparing to those dirty z06 pads?
oh and as far as the this topic goes... a handful of cars can beat bikes to 90mph or so, but they are heavily modified w/ prob 550+ hp.
after 100mph, most powerful cars can out-accelerate simply due to aerodynamics...
The 600RR is plenty fast...its all rider dependent though, much more so than car driving variance in speed.
psthe fastest production cars which they did have just enough to be called production is the lingenfelter vette 8.05 1/4 mile and hennessey venow viper 8.89-10.00 1/4 mile times. also the Bugatti Veyron 10s 1/4 mile.

don't yell at me guys.......... but. I let a modded 2003 cobra get 15 car lengths ahead and then I ot on it. It took me to 140(he did accel way faster than I thought) , but I blew by him so fast he couldn't see my tag! The guy loved the race and didn't realize how fast the 600RR was. If we had started at the line, NO CONTEST.
2 words AMS EVO8 street legal to now granted its not stock but its a tie between 1000cc bikes it may even out due em 8:17 vid watch the whole thing its awesome http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...f8075285c6.htm

I own a 2004 Mustang Cobra and a 2004 CBR600RR, and I've raced z06 vettes and other motorcycles in my Cobra. I can beat all of them. Then again my Cobra is modded. A stock 04 Cobra is about 12.9 in the 1/4 mile with about 360rwhp and 340lbsTQ. My Cobra gets 550RWHP and 660lbsTQ. I can pull z06's all day and all bikes that I have come across. My CBR has pulled all cars on the road thus far, even z06's and stock Cobras. I don't know what the point is. I've been to drag strips and the fastest bike I've seen pulled 7seconds in the 1/4 and some race sleds pulling 8 or 9 seconds all day. Fastest car on nitrous I've seen at the track pulled a low 8.
It all comes down to what power your vehicle has along with rider technique/experience. I have another buddy of mine with a turbo on his mustang. He puts down 600rwhp and 500TQ, and he can't beat me with my bike or my cobra. He can't drive worth ****. Every gear that he shifts into, I am always gaining on him and then I beat him few lengths. Its all relative though. Most races on the strip for bikes and sleds here in Canada, have bracket racing and not heads up(fastest ET time). So the object is not the fastest time, but the most consistent time. So you could run a 13 second time, but if you always get 13 seconds every time and you are consistent, then you win the event.
As far as street racing goes, when I race from a light on the rare occasion when some egg head is begging to race me, by second gear I am always having to slow down anyways, for obvious reasons. Its pointless really, not to mention illegal and dangerous. Sometimes we have nights where we find a good place to race, other than a drag strip. You know, just for bragging rights, and to shut some critics up who think they have fast vehicles.
Is it me or does it seem like neons and other average performing cars want to race me, whether I am on my bike or in my cobra? Its the corvettes or other "fast" cars that whimp out of a race, weird, must be in my city only.
