Default 03 600rr problem

I upgraded from an F2 to a 600rr this summer and i went to go riding the other day and it would not crank. I first thought it might be my fuel pump because when i hit the kill switch to the on position, i did not hear the fuel pump running. so i waited til the next day and tried again, but i noticed that the FI light on my guage cluster isnt coming on. does this mean my kill switch may be bad and it could be stuck in the on position? any help would be appreciated

When you say it wouldn't crank do you mean the engine would not even turn over? Or will the engine turn over but not fire?

I had this exact same problem. I also noticed the headlight not working. I probed around and discovered a failure in the ground of the main harness.
There is a little yellow block on the left side of the bike on the main harness. It's a little hard to see because it's taped up with electrical tape. This is were all the grounds for fuse box go to before going to the frame. It burns up and doesn't allow the circuit to be completed.
Mine burned up from corrosion. I took it apart and then soldered the wires to the metal piece that was inside it and then just taped it up. Problem solved.
