So I bought my 03 600rr and it is missing a few bolts and fasteners. I have a chance to buy some loose screws and hardware from an 05-06 cbr 600rr. Will I find the missing screws and fasteners in the 05-06 version or should I not even bother to buy it?

 

It all depends on price and if the loose hardware has all the pieces you need... they use the same hardware but I suggest you go to your local dealer or go to www.carolinacycle.com and look under the parts finder section... I just rebuilt my 04 RR and I used that site alot for all my hardware because 80% of it wsa missing.

 

When I rebuilt my bike I used hardware from the Hardware store. The stealerships are too much. You can find almost all the ones you need and a nice good harware store..

 

If your getting the loosebolts cheap enough, I'd say go for it if it looks like it has what you need. Hardware stores are good, but you have to match the bolt exactly, but if you know what the bolt is, that's your cheapest option.

I believe Ebay also has full bolt sets for around $30-$40...
