i have a question about the gas gauge. when i'm low on gas, and im on the last black bar, is that my reserve, or once that bar disappears, the red bar comes on and that's my reserve or does it die after the last black bar disappears?

 

they gave us a gas gauge so we don't have to worry about these things.


but yeah, on my 07 it gets to the black bar, and then after that it will go to the red bar which will blink

ya the last bar on my 03 lasted for quite some time, after it starts blinking you might wanna start looking for a gas station.

 

its kinda of annoying how much gas i have left once it starts blinking, like a gallon or so, which is a large portion of the tank.

I will drive it mabey 10 miles when it starts blinking, then go fill up and it will only take 3.5 gallons.

 

yeah blinking is reserve, but i ran out of gas once and the reserve light never blinked.... moral of the story 40-50 miles is too much on last bar lol. i was 2 blocks away from the gas station i was gonna stop at.
