I just bought a Chrome Swingarm for my 03 600rr. My question is should I change the bearings when I put it on or what? My bike has 10,400 miles and has been ridden easy. But what would you do if it was yours. Thanks
By the way I only paid $100 for it on ebay it's been plated 5 times and has never been mounted. Was it a good deal or not?

Sounds likea good deal, did you have to exchangeyour old one or was it a straight buy out? As far as the bearings go I would pull the old one's out and check the condition before spending money on new ones, 10k is nothing on those bearings, you should be able to re-use them.

 

Actually this item was on ebay and started at $1 I bidded $100 and won it. Here's the link. And I didnt have to send in my old one. It was a straight out buy. I thought it was a great deal. I'll check the bearings when I change them. Thanks for the advice

I think if you remove them carefully you can re-use them no problem.

That's a good deal on that swingarm...but with their feedback rating it's no wonder people were hesitant to bid...LOL
