Since im going with all black, gold, and carbon fiber on my bike i want to swap my rear caliper with a gold one from the 03-04 models. All the fitting and mounting locations look to be identical so im assuming i can swap them out directly. Anyone know for sure that i can or know that it wont work and ill need to buy different lines?

 

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to paint the caliper you have now to a gold one? That way you can paint both the front and rears to a matching color.

 

Yeah i thought about that but i didnt know if itd come out as good compared to just putting the 03-04 caliper on and then maybe running a gold 954 caliper up front or something. But ive got some down time so im not against killing a day or two doing that.
