its a 99 honda cbr..has 29000 miles. and hes asking 4500. is it worth it you think? i do believe he said something about it being rebuilt.

No I don't think it is at 29000 miles and "Rebuilt", Worth the money that is....

What is that supposed to mean, "Rebuilt"? Did it get wrecked and need to be fixed or is it packed with tons of mods and aftermarket parts? If you can wait for a little bit til we get past the main part of the ridin season you will save a bundle! But for 4500 you should be newer or bigger. That bike sounds to me...Rebuilt....29000 miles....sounds like a 3500 ride. But that is just opinion.

 

Yeah, I agree with musichyp, I think you can find one with alot less miles. That is way too high, jus look on e-bay you can find a good deal, or take the 4500 and go to dealer for something new or traded into them.
Jus my opinion though, its your $.

 

Paid 3 grand for mine with some slight rash. 9K miles. I spent a thousand to restore the bike after I crashed it on the track, lol.

 

sorry about the confusion. i was going off very little information. i talked to him again today and it wasnt "rebuilt" but it was fully tuned. jetted, new wires, plugs, oil, carb, ect. hes still asking 4500 but will go 4000. and i still think thats really high. and do plan on looking else where. know any decent deals anywhere?

 

Check e-bay or at your local area trade ins. You can find a much better bike for 4500 with a lot less miles.
