Default Winter Problem

I went out to start my F4 up for the first time in around a month. I live in Minnesota but it is kept in a non-heated garage. It starts up fine when I have the choke on, but the second that I push the choke off the bike dies completely. I think it may be a battery issue, because I have it hooked up to my NON-running car, and the second that I take off the jumper cables the bike stutters and dies, any thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas?

Let it choke for a awhile if its been that long sitting. I started mine for the first time in 3 months. I choked it for about 3min and pushed it in and it ran fine!

You need to get a battery tender and recharge the battery, preferably inside. You drained the battery by going out and starting it from time to time in the winter since you aren't keeping the rpms up long enough for it to recharge the battery. Get a battery tender before you end up having to buy a new battery next season from over draining yours.
