Hey guys, its been forever since my last post. Haven't been riding for a little over a year but i just picked up this beautiful little f4 (i'll post pics in the appropriate thread). There is this weird adjustment **** that seems out of place to me. I've taken it out so you can see it better. Does anyone know what it is ? It's not the idle adjustment because thats right above it.... just curious, is it some sort of air fuel ratio adjustment **** ? Thanks in advance !

 

Looks like a rear brake light switch. It should be fitted into a loop above the brake pedal at the back of the rearset and fixed to the pedal with a long spring. Is there a small metal axel coming out the other end with a hole through it?

 

Yeah there's a weird metal piece that sticks out. I think youre right sir ! Thanks for the reply ! Heres a close up but im 99% sure you are right !

 

Just fabbed a new spring to mine so had it in my hand mere hours ago. Although it was to my triumph they all look more or less the same.

 

Glad you lot answered first. I thought it was the upside-down sensor.
