It is either an F4 or and F4i. Differnece is F4 is carbed and F4i is fuel injected

It is an F4i fuel injected... The pgm-Fi is the programmable fuel injector. This bike also has an electronic digital ignition used to maximize power output and throttle response. Ya I bet that scares the sh*t out of ya!! LOL Enjoy it! In light the pgm-Fi replaces the choke....

Appreciate that, thanks, really was confused over this as the reg doc just says its an F, the warranty and service booklet says it's a cbr600f i/1 (?) E.

just curious whilst on, would you reccomend a power commander? not too bothered about performance just economy. ta.

you don't need the power commander unless you put a new exhaust on it. If you have the stock pipe, you are fine.

The guy I bought it had just put a brand new scorpion with removable baffle end can on, which presumably improved something, not sure what, sounds great though.

does it run OK? If it does you won't need a power commander. If it runs rough at certain rpm's or boggs down etc, you might need a power commander with a good map to get rid of problems.
