Default RE: welcoming the new neighbors

The unfortunate thing about today's world is that people are judgmental. Most of us (Riders) look at loud exhausts on sport bikes as cool. We like the sound. When we hear it we automatically start looking to see where the bike is and what kind of bike it is. Other people disagree, and those people are people that don't ride. And the people that don't ride out weigh the people that do ride. I'm not anti loud exhausts by any means. My exhaust is loud enough for my neighbors to hear me leave for school at 6:15 in the morning. I love the sound. But I don't do rev checks to make sure my bike still works at 13,000 RPM. If I was I'm sure I wouldn't be aloud back on the property with my motorcycle.

The thing is, the riders that do act a fool on the street, highways, and in neighbor hoods whether it be loud exhausts or wreckless riding do impact non-rider opinions about sport bikes. And because they don't ride and don't understand the motorcycle community they don't know that its just a few people that act like morons on two wheels. So they think in general "Bikes are obnoxious, dangerous, and anyone who rides one is just out to break all the laws and irritate me."

One thing to remember, just like driving around in a cage it is a privilege to ride a motorcycle. Add on top of that a motorcycle is considered a recreational vehicle. Its not looked at as a necessity for travel from point A to point B. (Which it is for me) Whos to stop law makers from banning motorcycles in certain neighborhoods and/or city's All because some lousy riders specifically wanted to be obnoxious and ride like idiots. If you don't think it can't happen maybe you should take some time and research it. Doesn't matter if you ride a Harley or a sports bike ALL riders are effected by other riders actions. Keep that in mind next time you wanna rev check those cage drivers enjoying a nice dinner in the patio area of their favorite restaurant. They out number us by ALLOT!

That was kind of rude, I apologize. But unprovoked slams on others is a bit childish. All that I have to say is... Dude.
