Default Valve adjust and other Question from a noob

I am the second owner of a good condition 2000 F4. 65,000 kms all stock and the previous owner indicated that it was due for it's recommended valve adjustment. I've had it out for a few rides and it starts, runs and rides very smooth and strong until it has fully warmed up and then there is a hesitation while just cruising around (3-4000 rpms). Once you get back on the throttle it smooths out a bit. Is this pretty typical of an F4 requiring a valve adjustment or could it possibly be something else? About how much would a reputable shop charge for this work and can anybody recommend a decent place in Niagara, Ontario? I'm busy and out of town and don't have the time to do the work myself but don't know who to trust around here as a couple of my local shops have pretty ****ty reputations.

Oh yeah, and I couldn't resist the urge to put an updated undertail with led's and frnt flush mounts on. I'll get a pic or two of the flying orange pumpkin posted up some time.

Thanks in advance !!

that could caused by improper jetting, needing synched, needing plugs changed or valves. If its due they should be checked but they arent necessarily the cause of your hessitation.

clean and inspect carbs, sounds more like the problem.
