Default Ticking issue

Has anyone had a ticking noise when at idle. It's seems as is it happens after the bike it warmed up for a awhile. I went a delearship and they siad it a common issue but to not worry about it cause it doesn't affect the bike just makes a little noise. has anyone experienced this before and had it fixed or know how to fix it.

Yeah I have noticed the same thing. I think some people have said it is the cam chain might be loose. But I have no idea.

same problem here. My friend who bought a f4 when they first came out said he remembers the same noise. From everything that I have read it sounds like that is just a noise the bikes makes.

if it is the cam chain tensioner, "which i have no idea where it is or what it is". would i still be hearing the noise from right under the tank? is this a big job to fix and can you do it yourself....

YOU WILL ACTUALLY THINK THE NOISE IS COMING FROM UNDER THE TANK, ETC..ALMOST EVERYWHERE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HEAR IT. TAKE A SCOPE, LIKE THE ONES A DOCTOR CHECKS YOUR HEARTBEAT WITH OR A MECHANICAL ONE, LISTEN TOTHE RIGHT SIDE ABOVE THE CLUTCH COVER AND AROUND THAT AREA . YOU WILL REALLY HEAR IT GOOD WITH THAT. https://cbrforum.com/m_194038/tm.htm THIS IS LINK TO THE CCT INSTALL, YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF IF YOU HAVE SOME MECHANICAL SKILLS, BUT YOU WILL WANT TO REALLY UINDERSTAND EVGERYTHING YOU ARE DOING. YOU CAN DAMAGE PARTS IF DONE INCORRECTLY! ITS MORE OR LESS A PAIN TO DO. HOPE THAT HELPS.

CCT rattles are VERY LOUD, JUST LIKE YOUR TYPING.

it is possible, but doubtful at idle. Usually here a CCT higher up than idle, 5k and up. sounds like bb's in a can.

what you are hearing could be what is commonly reffered to as the Honda tick. mine does it at idle as well. everyone tells me, not to worry about it
they all do that. I am not saying dont worry about, but apparently...............dont worry about it.

Krash is right, if it is the CCTL, the noise would be about 5K rpm and up. Ifthe ticking is at idle, I'dlet your mechanic have a listen and go with what he suggests.
