hey, i got a 2000 cbr f4 ,it runs great,but has a flat spot in low rpm of throttle range,get past that spot and the thing runs awesome thru the rest of the throttle range,why does it want to stall when idling?????sync?jets?just cant figure it out....thanks....

 

If I had to take a guess I would say you have a pilot jet clogged up. Take the carb apart and the pilot jet is the smaller one at the bottom of the carb right beside the main jet which is probably a 135 or something close. I had same problem on my FZR and it turned out to be the gas. The ethanol had clogged up the carbs. WATCH OUT FOR THE ETHANOL GASOLINE. I have several bikes and that crap is causing havic on the carborated bikes.

 

thx bigK ,i think i may have a slow / low rpm jet clogged or something ,it only happens occasionally,i will b replacing all jets in carbs....i will keep u posted on the results
