I took out my carbs just to mess around with my bike, doing a inspection, you know. Now I can't seem to bolt the gas tank all the way down. Either I can bolt the back down all the way and the top has too much of a gap or vise versa. I'm fairly sure the carbs are seated all the way down and the airbox is seated all the way down too.

 

oh its normal.... its a bit tricky...

you have to thread in the top ones first... but not all the way... use ur thumb...

then align the tank while its still loose... and go for the bottom ones...

and once all 4 are in the hole... tighten it up...
