cbr f4 1999....it has led undertail and side signals....the headlight went after i had a minor drop....i changed wireharness and got relay....bulb is fine.....all connectors r bang on....i dont get it...i was told that leds may mess up the 1999 f4....anyone know? thx for the help...

 

LEDs *shouldn't* "mess up" anything if properly installed.

I use LEDs front & back w/o problems.

Have you checked to see if your starting switch is working properly. A sticky switch or switch w/ a loose wire can play havoc...making you think you've got a headlight problem. Since the switch prevents the headlight from being on during the starting procedure, there could be a problem in the switch. Just thinking out loud here, as there's not a lot more info to go on.

much appreciated....just to make sure do u mean the kill switch on the right bar or the beam switch on the left bar......i was also told maybe the ignition might be the issue..........thx
