tachometer stoped working and miles rested to zero?

Default tachometer stoped working and miles rested to zero?

does any one know why it would randomly stop working? everything else works ill find out tom if the speedo works or not.... maybe a blown dash?

Check your Fuse's.

i checked them first.. everthign else works on the cluster but the tach.... it worked the night before but the next morning it wasnt working

so i went for a ride today, the speedo doesnt work, the tachometer doesnt and the temp guage doesnt work either..... but all the signals, high beat , oil and other indicators work just fine..im dumbfounded...does any one have any ideas?

Not a clue on this one. Your best bet may be to take it to the shop.

sure none of the fuses are blown? sounds alot like a short somewhere

check the connectors in the wiring hub on the front of the bike.

if this doesnt fix it, clean the hell out of it and sell it as low miles.

it has to be a bad cluster.. i tested all the wires at the front harness and they all volted right up, i found a new cluster for 40 bucks so hoping that should fix my problems...if not down to the shop it goes =/ aaha

I know it's been a while but I'm having a similar issue. What was wrong? also did you have any problems with the bike not going very fast when the gauges weren't working? Like bogging down ?
