I have a cbr 600 f4 im doing a restoration on. Got the engine firing good and everything, except the starter. I can short the starter and it will turn over and start fine (putting a jumper on positive and negative by the solenoid) . but when I press the button on the right handle bar is does nothing. Does anyone know a way to test and see if it is the starter on the handlebar, maybe like short it out or something. I would like to figure this out so i can just press the button instead of having to take off my seat to short it out every time i wanna go for a spin. any help would be appreciated
