So my starter button doesn't work. Currently, in order to ride the bike I have a 12v 30amp switch rigged to cross out the starter relay. The bike runs perfectly but only if I hold down said switch. When I let go of the switch, the the voltage drops in half and the bike will idle for about 10 seconds before it kills out. I replaced the starter, regulator, and stator 3 days ago. Battery is new and holds a solid charge. Like I said voltage seems fine and the bike runs great if I keep the switch pressed. My only concern about keeping the button depressed is that I'm certain that this means my starter continues to run.
