Well its been awhile that i updated so i thought i should get some stuff done . A bout 2 weeks ago i took the bike out to add the moto gp and seen the f/turns melted ( cheep cheep ebay junk ) so ordered new 3 wire small turns to replace them + dident like the c/f look to much . I still have to do a few things like add the brake, gear shift levers i dont have the hex key big enuf to get the old one off . The seat was riped to hell from being left out sittin so the only thing so far was i recovered it.
I store the bike in a shed that is only like 8foot by 10foot so ill be doing work on that to straighten it up adding shelf's to get some space in ther probl..going to build onto it in the summer....

Nice looking seat. Back when I still had the banana seat on mine, I had to recover it. I used marine-vinyl from a local fabric store. A couple of hrs later w/ the use of a staple-gun, I had a seat that looked like new. I just couldn't bring myself to pay an upholsterer $40 to recover it.
The next morning after redoing my seat, my fingers/hands were so sore, I would've gladly have given up that $40 to take away the pain & soreness.
Since doing the split-seat conversion, I've had to recover my rear seat. I'd not made sure it was secured...& off I went down the road. When I got home & got off my bike, I discovered my rear seat was gone! Being the optimist, I put an add in CL, asking for the return of the seat if found. That same day, I got a email from a fellow rider saying he'd found it. I couldn't believe it! We met up the next day & I got it back. The seat had taken quite a tumble on the pavement & tore all 4 corners of the seat covering. I got my leftover marine-vinyl out & recovered that puppy in about an hr.

It took me an hr just to get the old staples out then tried to use a reg. staple gun l yah that wouldn't work that good shoot about 10 in and 4 might have stuck so out cam the air stapler and 20 min latter it was done..
As for now i have a little more to do to the bike. In spring I'm going to redo the 8'by 10' shed the bikes in all my yard stuffs in there so not much room I'm thinking of making it 12'by8' sucks having a small year ( 18' by 110' )
