Thanks m8 and i done them myself, one winter i decided to pull the back end off and i spent hours sanding down the swing arm going from about 400 to 2000 wet/dry sandpaper then used a metal polish then used a nanotech metal protector which stops any water from damaging the polished bits, it was hard work and took ages but the final outcome is well worth it.

Default You asked for it ...

Well you asked for pics, so here she is. 1999 F4 project trackbike. What you see is what I have. It does have a Penske rear shock, braided steel brake lines, Scott's steering damper, Race Tech fork internals, graves clip-ons.

It just needs some TLC to get her running & bodywork. I found a nose, side fairings, seat, headlight & rear fender on eBay shipped for $60. I still need a tail, not worriend about the shape or color.

I usually build Honda 600RR's & flip them, so this will be new. I attached a few pics of the last few I built. They all started life crashed.

If anyone has a tail, let me know.

I'm new here just found this thread, figured i'd show you all my bike see what you think get any ideas on what else I should do. Its a 99 f4, it has a Vance and Hines slip on that I "modified" a bit shorter pic doesn't show it. Geared one down in front up three in back. Has pilot power 180/55zr17 in the back and 120/70zr17 up front, currently saving up for prob 2cts 190/55zr17 and 120/70zr17? ordering drop in k&n and jet kit for that setup, other than that running not too much plastic and have the fender delete with integrated tail/turn and flush mount front turns, and 6k HID up front. Plus custom screw heads courtesy of hot topic painted black

Looking good jsowden, like the minimal fairing look a lot, and your tidied up tail, need to do this on mine still....

Have you thought about painting the headers of the exhaust black, or even wrapping them in tape seeing as their out on display?

Cheers
Benni
